Frequently asked questions
Do you support Mitel models that are end-of-life? Yes. We support installed base across legacy Mitel SX-2000, SX-200, 5300 series, 6800i series, and Aastra-heritage models. Where Mitel has discontinued support, we provide best-effort engineering and clear migration paths.
Can you migrate Nortel CS1000 to Mitel MX-ONE or MiVoice Business? Yes. We’ve delivered dozens of Nortel-to-Mitel migrations in KSA. Engagement includes dial plan preservation, voicemail (CallPilot to Mitel NuPoint or MiCollab) data migration, ACD/Symposium replacement (Mitel MiContact Center), SIP trunk transition, device replacement, and phased cutover.
Are spare parts available for legacy phones (Polycom SoundPoint, Avaya 9608, Cisco 7965)? Yes for most. We maintain regional inventory and have authorized distributor relationships. Some genuinely end-of-life models may require third-party refurbished units; we disclose this.
Do you support Microsoft Teams Phone with Poly CCX or Yealink T-series? Yes. We deploy and integrate Teams Phone (formerly Microsoft Teams Calling) with certified handsets, including Poly CCX 400/500/600/700 and Yealink T5x series. Plus SBC integration where direct routing is required.
What’s the typical turnaround on phone refresh from order to working device? Stock items: 5-10 business days from PO. Configured-to-order (specific firmware, hospitality features): 10-15 business days. Multi-site rollouts: phased delivery scheduled to your IT calendar.
Can EIE service phones procured elsewhere? Yes. Many of our managed services clients have phones procured through other channels (legacy installations, brand-mandated sourcing). We service them under our managed services contracts. Genuine warranty work on devices procured elsewhere is on a case-by-case basis with the original vendor.
What about specialty phones — explosion-proof, ruggedized, healthcare-specific? We service Hytera and Motorola two-way (industrial), Vocera badge phones (healthcare), and SpectraLink wireless (healthcare/warehouse/retail). Healthcare and industrial specialties are scoped per engagement.
