How delivery works for customers in Sudan
EIE is headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, and runs its Sudan projects from there, with no local base.
Remote engineering from Jeddah. Dial plan build, call routing, class of service, voicemail, hospitality integration and fault diagnosis are done by our Saudi engineering team over a remote connection.
Supply and shipment across the Red Sea. Equipment is quoted and sourced in Saudi Arabia and is normally shipped by sea from Jeddah to Port Sudan, or by air where a small item cannot wait for a sailing. Import formalities are handled by the customer’s freight forwarder and customs clearance broker. Equipment supply is confirmed at quotation and is subject to the vendor’s export and re-export rules for the destination, restricted-party and end-use screening, customs documentation, and carrier and route availability at the time of shipment.
Engineers on site when the phase needs it. EIE engineers travel to Sudan for installation, cutover, integration testing and handover. Each visit carries travel with it, so cabling, power and trunks are confirmed beforehand.

Numbering is preserved, attendant and queue behaviour is rebuilt and tested before anyone depends on it, and gateways let old and new run alongside each other while departments move. Where an organisation has relocated, a new platform can be stood up at the working location first, while an older estate in Khartoum stays live until the link between the two locations is proven.
